More than 100 million connections made by IVT Installations- und Verbindungstechnik GmbH guarantee top-quality drinking water, perfectly functioning plumbing and heating systems in numerous buildings all over the world.

This success story is based on a patented plastic pipe system for drinking water pipes invented by Christoph Henning in the year 1994. Together with an experienced development engineer familiar with the branch, the 39-year-old business administrator was able to win over a strong sales partner, Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG.

What was originally a two-man company has since developed into a company employing around 140 people with an annual turnover of about 32 million euros. Walking around the company headquarters in Rohr, you can still feel the spirit of pioneering and invention. In the meantime, many further patents have followed the first, including patent no. 101 14 485 for 100% oxygen-proof, flexible Nanotec pipes or patent no. 19807657 for unpressurised plastic heat storage tanks.
